'Scream 5' Teaser Unveiled

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first teaser and release date for upcoming horror film "Scream 5". "On January 14, 2022… We're going to hear you SCREAM.", tweeted Scream on Friday.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the franchise's latest installment will follow a woman returning to her home town to find out who has been committing a series of vicious crimes. "You" and "Jane the Virgin" actress Jenna Ortega will be joining the cast of the new movie, Deadline reports. "Friends" star Courtney Cox and David Arquette will be reprising their roles as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley.

Ariana, BTS, Gaga and The Weeknd Scoop Multiple Awards at VMAs

On Sunday, MTV hosted its Video Music Awards with social distancing measures and COVID-19 regulations observed. The 37th annual event was held outdoors and hosted by Keke Palmer, with electrifying performances from Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Black Eyed Peas, BTS, CNCO, Maluma and DaBaby.
The night's biggest winners were Ariana Grande, BTS and Lady Gaga who led the 2020 music ceremony with four awards each. Grande and Gaga -nominated for nine awards- took home "Best Cinematography", "Best Collaboration" and "Song of The Year". The duo individually earned their fourth awards for "Artist of The Year" (Gaga) and "Best Music Video from Home" (Ariana with Justin Bieber). Gaga was also recognized with the inaugural "MTV Tricon" Award.
The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" won "Best RnB" and "Video of the Year" as K-pop group BTS bagged "Best Pop" and "Best K-pop" awards. Megan Thee Stallion's 2020 mega hit "Savage" won a moon person for "Best HipHop", edging out top contenders Roddy Ricch's "The Box", Eminem and Juice WRLD's "Godzilla".

Chadwick Boseman Breaks Twitter Record

Twitter's most liked tweet of all time now belongs to Chadwick Boseman. "Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever", the microblogging platform confirmed late Saturday, surpassing 6.3 million likes. The tweet was a statement announcing the "Black Panther" star's untimely demise, confirming he had lost a four-year battle with colon cancer.
Boseman's tweet edged out Barack Obama's "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion..." tweet, which currently stands at 4.3 million likes.
As of today, the tweet has been liked more than 7.3 million times, with 3.1 million retweets.
