Disgraced RnB Star R Kelly Reportedly Attacked in Detention

R Kelly was allegedly attacked by a fellow inmate in his jail cell on Thursday. “Yesterday we were told that an inmate had attacked R Kelly at the MCC in Chicago”, tweeted Steve Greenberg, one of his attorneys. According to TMZ, “Kelly was sitting on his bed when another inmate walked in his cell and started punching the crap out of Kelly”.

Doug Anton, Kelly’s second attorney, confirmed that the prison guards stopped the altercation “almost immediately”, adding that the now disgraced RnB star “did not sustain any injuries and that X-rays did not reveal any fractures”.

Kelly is currently being held at a Chicago correctional facility on a racketeering and sexual abuse charge. He is also wanted in several jurisdictions for several sexual harassment allegations, following the explosive “Surviving R Kelly” documentary in January 2019.

‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ Trailer Released

Netflix has released the official trailer for upcoming flick ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’. “Ready for round 2? The Babysitter: Killer Queen is coming on September 10 and it’s going to be fun as hell”, tweeted the streaming platform on Thursday alongside the video.

The McG-directed horror-comedy flick, a sequel to 2017’s “The Babysitter”, synopsis reads: Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole continues to be haunted by the horrific events of that night. Everyone in his life thinks he has lost his mind since Bee and all of her friends disappeared, making Cole’s story hard to believe. He is still hopelessly smitten with his best friend and next door neighbor Melanie – the only one who believes his story – who convinces him to forget the past and come to a party thrown at a nearby lake. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil and survive the night.

NBC Orders a ‘Joe Exotic’ Limited Series Starring Kate McKinnon

The limited series, to be written and executive produced by Etan Frankel, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart, will be cross promoted across NBC, Peacock and USA Network.

Based on the Wondery podcast, ‘Joe Exotic’ will follow the life of Carole Baskin (Kate McKinnon), a big cat enthusiast, who learns that when fellow exotic animal lover Joe ‘Exotic’ Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit, she sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous.

More details on the project, first announced to be in development last November, will be unveiled at a later date.
