Diamond Platnumz Accused of ‘Stealing’ Otile Brown’s Work
Controversy is not new to Diamond Platnumz. Last weekend, the Tanzanian singer was accused of allegedly “stealing” beats to one of Otile Brown’s songs.
Diamond shared a snippet of his new hit, Naanzaje, on Instagram last Saturday when fans noticed a striking similarity in the beat to Otile Brown and Jovial’s Such Kinda Love, released just three months ago.
“Much love from Kenya, though beats zinakaa za otile na jovial,” pointed one fan. Another wrote, “Mmesikia ngoma mpya ya Diamond Platnumz inaitwa #Naanzaje manze amecopy beast ya #SuchKindOflove ya Otile Brown”.
Neither Diamond nor Brown and Jovial had addressed the latest controversy at the time of publishing this article.

Foundation Trailer Released
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for upcoming series Foundation. Directed by David S. Goyer, the sci-fi follows a complex saga of humans scattered on planets throughout the galaxy all living under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
When revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon (Jared Harris) predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization.
Enraged by Hari’s claims, the ruling Cleons — a long line of emperor clones — fear their unrivaled reign may be weakening as they’re forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their powerful legacy forever.
