Instagram Introduces 'Suggested Posts' Feature; The Internet is Mad

"Suggested Posts" is Instagram's new feature expected to recommend posts that users might like once they reach the end of their feed. The feature will also serve as a marketing medium for advertisers as ad space will also be made available once users get the "You're All Caught Up" message. "We see people continuing to seek out more posts they're interested in after catching up with their feeds, so we wanted to learn from that and make it easier to go a little deeper for those who choose to do so." says the platform's director of product, Robby Stein.
Some individuals have pointed out that this move goes against its screen time management tools, which limits users' screen time on the platform to evade negative consequences on their mental health. However, the internet is not happy with the new feature.

Trey Songz Addresses Sexual Assault Allegations

Trey Songz has taken to Twitter to set the record straight on sexual misconduct allegations leveled against him. On Wednesday, the RnB singer posted screenshots of messages with several women discrediting them in a tweet. "Y'all stay ready to believe a bird," he said, following a particular lady who mentioned him in a podcast alleging that she was urinated on without consent. "And then he literally just peed on me like that, and I was like, 'What the f*** on my eyelashes?' And he's like, 'You're fine'", she narrated.
In another tweet, Songz said, "I usually stay quiet on this but I feel that in many ways the movement to fight for the women who actually have suffered harassment and abuse on various levels, has been hijacked by those who find it convenient for themselves to come up as they seek to destroy someone's life".
Keke Palmer, who accused him of sexual intimidation in 2017, tweeted soon after, "Always be strong enough to stand in your truth because guess who got you? God! I love y'all". The tweet is believed to have been directed in support of the woman.
