The Monique-Mwikali Outfit Scandal Explained (Screenshots Available)
Kenyan Twitter has been on divided factions over an online debacle regarding a "humiliated" startup entrepreneur and a disgruntled customer. This is the story of Mwikali and Monique. Last week Wednesday (April 22), Monique took to the micro blogging platform to express her dissatisfaction on customer service and a delayed, mixed up order. "These dresses were on Sale and I decided to cop one last week. Reach out, picked a color nini nini and I was told delivery would be done by noon Saturday", she explains, adding that the delivery was however delayed for two days with no definite communication from Mwikali.Monique says that the dress is finally delivered on Monday with no form of packaging, but much to her dismay, it does not fit. Mwikali, from the screenshots, claims to have had a backlog of orders hence the probability of a potential mix up. They agree to have the correct dress delivered the following day. Mwikali however, allegedly goes MIA after a "Hey Monique" text, and the outfit fails to be delivered that day. Mwikali apologizes for the inconvenience and refunds Monique the money on request.Fast forward to last weekend, Monique posts an image in a newly delivered outfit. What catches the internet's attention is the caption: "@Kurlycheeks delivered this in 2 days and didn't even ask me for measurements lol". This initiated a frenzy, with a section of netizens accusing her of downgrading Mwikali's business to promote her friend's, barely a week later. At the time of publishing this story, Mwikali has since deleted her Twitter account and Monique maintains her issue was not with the dress, but poor customer service. She also denies any malicious intent. So fine you can't be compared to big businesses but kwani how much does it cost to shoot a text and inform client that there's a delay. Communication tu. It's such a basic thing Yaani. pic.twitter.com/2HQKEFszx5

I believe in Karma... What you do onto others will bombasticate onto you in ten folds..everyone makes mistakes so did mwikali and she apologized and refunded your cash but you heartless descendant of Jezebel trolled her out of twitter.. Malipo ni papa hapa duniani ?

But sincerely, Mwikali accepted her mistake and even offered to do a free dress for her. I sincerely understood the girl that her problem was communication. But did she have to do that when she posted her photo w a new outfit?
