Netflix Reportedly Cancels Idris Elba's 'Turn Up Charlie' Show

Netflix's hit sitcom "Turn Up Charlie" has been cancelled after one season. Reports indicate the Idris Elba-created comedy failed to "turn up" ratings on the streaming service. "Idris had hoped to get a second season rolling and was even working on new ideas but he couldn't get it to work", according to the Sun, adding, "Netflix and Idris just didn't see eye to eye on it."
Despite its 90% audience and 53% critics' ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the site's "critic consensus" partly reads, "Poor writing and predictable plot twists dampen Turn Up Charlie's fun premise". Sad to say, it was good while it lasted.

Daniel "Churchill" Ndambuki is currently facing allegations of short changing upcoming comedians on his widely popular "Churchill Show". In response to the allegations, Churchill sought to inquire who made the claims when quizzed by a tweep to no specific response. He later tweeted, "The truth will destroy the very same comedians I have tried to grow". It is unclear what the veteran comedian meant by the cryptic tweet.
