Netflix Reportedly Cancels Idris Elba's 'Turn Up Charlie' Show
Netflix's hit sitcom "Turn Up Charlie" has been cancelled after one season. Reports indicate the Idris Elba-created comedy failed to "turn up" ratings on the streaming service. "Idris had hoped to get a second season rolling and was even working on new ideas but he couldn't get it to work", according to the Sun, adding, "Netflix and Idris just didn't see eye to eye on it."Despite its 90% audience and 53% critics' ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the site's "critic consensus" partly reads, "Poor writing and predictable plot twists dampen Turn Up Charlie's fun premise". Sad to say, it was good while it lasted.Just heard about @idriselba's #TurnUpCharlie being cancelled. Hey, since it's my 50th #Birthday, can you uncancel it for my present @netflix?

So, when Idris plays a Nigerian, he gets cancelled. Now you see why he always plays a Black American.
Black Americans and their culture are valued around the world. Other black people, not so much. And that's why Hollywood gives those roles to non-#ADOS.https://t.co/99A7D7QCEO— Don't Tread on Me Because - I'm #ADOS. I mean it. (@MACVpark69) April 27, 2020
Mwalim Churchill Slammed for Short-Changing Comedians?
Daniel "Churchill" Ndambuki is currently facing allegations of short changing upcoming comedians on his widely popular "Churchill Show". The epicenter of these claims could not immediately be established as none of his current (and previous) mentees came out on the same. However, this did not stop a section of netizens from bashing him online. In response to the allegations, Churchill sought to inquire who made the claims when quizzed by a tweep to no specific response. He later tweeted, "The truth will destroy the very same comedians I have tried to grow". It is unclear what the veteran comedian meant by the cryptic tweet."If Churchill pays comedians well, they will get rich and rich people are never funny" - Kim Jong-un

Lakini Mbona Churchill anashindwa Kulipa Comedians like for reals? It really doesn't make sense to me. That show makes alot of money!

Churchill says he doesn't not pay comedians and influencers because he gives them platform in #ChurchillShow so that they become known and get gigs and promotions. So will they eat fame??? Churchill you are a big disappointment. You are using others to get money. pic.twitter.com/M0yhWreffl

Bahati stays setting Diana up for trolls. All these shenanigans, he does it intentionally to gain milage for his celebrity status but who gets blamed for it? Diana.
