Tedd Riley and Babyface Break Instagram Live Record

Despite its epic fail, the much-anticipated IG Live battle between executives Tedd Riley and Babyface broke the platform's record with 416,000 live viewers. The record was previously held by Tory Lanez with 350,000 viewers, thanks to his now popular "Quarantine Radio". The " Verzuz" face off was  postponed to today (Monday 20) due to sound issues on Tedd Riley's side, which resulted in playbacks and echoes whenever he would perform. Twitter had a field day with an overflow of jokes directed at the two.

Ethic Entertainment Slammed Over "Distasteful" Song

Ethic Entertainment is being called out on social media following their new single "Soko".Netizens allege that some of the stint's lyrics by the Gengetone group promotes pedophilia. This is not the first time Ethic have faced backlash. Late last year, their song "Tarimbo" was temporarily suspended by YouTube for "condoning and promoting rape culture". Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua has since said that he is working on having Ethic's channel suspended altogether. "We have gotten in touch with Google who owns YouTube. We want that channel suspended. That video is disgusting. It's promoting child abuse and pedophilia, we cannot condone it," said Mutua in a statement on Sunday. Ethic has since responded to the online uproar saying, "We do not endorse pedophilia. People interpret lyrics however they aim to. If that's what you interpreted it as from listening to the lyrics then you should evaluate yourself". Here are some of the reactions;

Nigerian singer Davido says his fiancé, Chioma has recovered from coronavirus. Taking to his Twitter, the "Risky" hit maker thanked fans for support and prayers, "Glory be to God .. Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19 ... Thank you all for prayers .... We love you .."Chioma had allegedly contracted the virus late last month following their return to Nigeria from London,UK. However, as some fans were happy for the couple, others accused them of clout chasing;
