1. SWAT
One of Ethic group's member, Boniface Mwangi (popularly known as SWAT) made headlines as he was accused of being a thief. It is alleged the artiste and his friends spotted a police car patrolling in Umoja estate Saturday night which scared them into a residential apartment. The neighbors heard the commotion and thinking they were thieves, nabbed and beat them up. The police however came to their rescue after establishing their innocence.
Ethic's manager, through their official handles sought to clear the air over the weekend happenings.
2. Huddah | #FungaDukaChallenge
Socialite Huddah Monroe took to social media urging ladies to avoid sexual involvements with men. This came after she explained a direct message she received from a lady who found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her with multiple women. This sparked #FungaDukaChallenge on Twitter.

The mobile Telco has been the top trending topic over a series of adverts it released online which seemed to be utterly directed against one of its competitors.
4. #WorldWildlifeDay
The world commemorated the annual #WorldWildlifeDay whose main focus is that of global attention on the protection of biodiversity and wildlife. This year's theme was 'Life below water: For people and planet' which also marked the first ever celebration focusing on life below water.
5. #SAFTAs13
South African entertainment industry showed up in pomp and color at the annual SAFTA awards show with notable celebrities Somizi and Boity being in attendance. The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) celebrates the industry's crème de la crème in TV and movies.

Kenya suffered its eighth consequent loss this weekend at the world rugby series after facing a 31-7 and 26-5 defeat to France and USA respectively.

The automaker made headlines worldwide after reports made rounds that it recalled close to 1.3 million of its cars in the United States as brake lights were not illuminating properly.
9. Carol Radull
After president Kenyatta did a cabinet reshuffle, Education CS Amina Mohammed also made headlines after she was moved to the sports docket. Kenyans were not pleased with the president's decision going as far as nominating radio presenter Carol Radull for the position thanks to her immense knowledge of sports.
10. Jordyn-Tristan Scandal
Following the major Jordyn-Tristan cheating scandal 10 days ago, Jordyn appeared on Jada Pinkett-Smith's 'Red Table Talk' show for her first interview since the scandal. She addressed the issue but Khloe Kardashian wasn't pleased and called her out for being responsible for her family's break up. Khloe later retracted the statement.
11. Football News
#MUNSOU: Manchester United defeated rivals South Hampton 3-2 on home ground at Old Trafford.
#TOTARS: Tottenham played host to Arsenal at Wembley Stadium which resulted to a 1-1 draw end game.
#FULCHE: Higuain and Jorginho gave Chelsea a 2-1 victory against rivals Fulham ,all the two goals being scored within the first half.
