Music Group Ethic Entertainment Entangled in Koroga Festival Drama

Over the weekend,  Koroga festival headliners Ethic are said to have been allegedly attacked at Koroga Festival. Reports vary  on what actually transpired, however the "Lamba Lolo" hit makers took to social media, stating that  four of their crew members were "brutally injured" by the festival's security team; using #JusticeForEthic on twitter.  There were clearly two opposing accounts on what transpired:

Revelers Displeased with Jah Cure's Underwhelming Performance

It wasn't a great weekend for Nairobi concerts. Reggae fans branded the Uhuru gardens event underwhelming. The King of lovers' rock, Jah Cure headlined the Umoja Splash Festival on Saturday, encumbered by a malfunctioning sound system and lack of enough booze. It is also reported that the "Call on Me" hit maker did more talking than the actual singing, and only performed for an hour.

Femi Kuti brought his A-game at the 26th edition of the Koroga Festival. The four-time Grammy winner performed various acoustic hits, keeping Kenyans highly entertained.

Disney Reveals 'Mulan' Live-Action Movie Trailer

Disney has released the trailer for the live-action remake of "Mulan". The adventure-film focuses on a young Chinese maiden, played by Liu Yifei, who disguises herself as a male warrior in order to save her father. What puzzled many fans however, is the rumor that both Mushu and Cri-Kee will not be in the film. Additionally, the music featured will only be instrumental. "Mulan" hits theatres March 27, 2020.

Football Legend Joe Kadenge Passes On

Joe Kadenge passed away on Sunday, aged 84. The legendary Kenyan footballer succumbed while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga led Kenyans in sending condolences to Kadenge's family.
