When it comes to job interviews, it's easy to prep for questions from the interviewers. There are countless articles telling potential employees how to dress, walk, talk- showing the interviewees exactly how to answer specific questions that can be found in most oral interviews.
However,  most interviewees find themselves stumped when asked: "Do you have any questions?"
Job seekers are aware that asking the wrong questions can have your name crossed off the shortlist just as easily as someone lacking the required experience. Being in this spot also brings about very many questions. What do they want you to ask? Are they looking for something characteristic in you or do they genuinely want you to ask something useful? Are they just being polite? Should you time yourself? How many questions are you allowed to ask? Should you even ask? Should you wait until you are prompted if you do have questions?
Most experts suggest that you should have at least two questions which can show your passion for the job and that you are well versed in the company or industry. Having no questions can be easily misinterpreted as disinterest.

Here are a few things to consider:

Avoid vague questions that leave the interviewer stumped. Do not ask about the company's policy on working at home, or paid time off. Do not ask questions about the company that you could have researched beforehand.
Some of the best questions to ask at the interview are:
What can I clarify for you about my qualifications?
When would the start date of the job be?
When can I expect to hear from you?
What is the most important thing to accomplish in the first 90 days?
Please tell me some more about the day-to-day responsibilities of the job.
What is the career path for someone in this role?
What does the company hope to achieve in the next five years?
Please note that asking about salaries and benefits should be held off until the final steps of the hiring process. Speak nothing of salary unless the interviewer asks you about it.
Practice these questions ahead of time so as to make sure you don't end up rambling at the job interview.
All the best!
