Are you a fairly new parent monitoring every milestone your child achieves? A Toddler Sensory class could make this exciting journey even better.
A toddler sensory class will provide your baby with a rich sensory environment that'll stimulate your baby's senses which include sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, movement and balance.
From birth through to early childhood, children use their senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them. They do this by touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving and hearing. Children and even adults learn best and retain the most information when they engage their senses.
Providing opportunities for children to actively use their senses as they explore their world through 'sensory play' is crucial to brain development - it helps to build nerve connections in the brain's pathways.
Take your little ones to explore their artistic skills and learn more about their senses in the Toddler Art and Sensory Class at Under The Sea Village Market.  Classes are every Monday from 11am-12pm. Suitable for kids 6 months to 3 years. Under the Sea at the Village Market is a nice indoor play area for kids. It has an 'under the sea' ambience with walls painted with sea creatures.
The kids are going to have a ball and you can join in the fun too. There's a sandbox, a painting area, and there are ball, sponge & Lego pits. If you'd rather just sit and watch the kids, there is a seating area dedicated to parents or chaperones.
The charges are Ksh. 350 for kids under 3 years and Ksh. 550 for older kids on weekdays. On weekends, prices go up to Ksh 450 for the younger kids while those over 3 years are charged Ksh. 750. Chaperones and guardians pay Ksh 200.
