December is here! As tradition dictates, many of us will be flocking to the Coast. Forget the  cliché  beach walks, this Jamhuri Weekend, you might wanna spectate or participate in the Red Bull Quicksand race. Touted as the toughest mile race in the world, it will be held for the first time in Kenya  on one the best-known oceanside towns of Diani 3 years after its thrilling inception in the seaside town of Margate in the UK.
Runners and fitness enthusiasts will be able to test their strength against 250 other competitors in this grueling race. How hard can one mile be? Here's how:
The man-made 'sandcastle' obstacles will tower over the competitors, forcing them to climb vertically over the loose terrain, creating a challenge to even the most hardened of athletes!
What is a race without your support team? This event is free for spectators so runners can bring their friends along. Unleash the beast within by signing up for the hardest one mile race you'll ever run by getting your tickets from KenyaBuzz
