The Kids' Lit Club

Baraza Media Lab is officially launching its first kids' book club dubbed "The Kids Lit Club", in partnership with AfroKidzKenya. Kids ages 6 - 10 are invited to the launch on the 11th of March from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They will be reading and listening to the books in the series Super Lisu as narrated by the author Yolanda Chakava.From the selection is a book titled, 'My Super Hair', a story about Kendi, a superhero from Kenya. After an unexpected encounter, she discovers the source of her powers - her natural hair! The story is fun, highly compelling and has a positive message. Super Lisu has vivid and captivating comic-style illustrations, published by East African Educational Publishers.Entry is free. RSVP here
