Octavio is set to become the mayor of Ichamal! After nearly losing his company because of polluting the river, he has decided to get into the government so that he can take care of things himself.To kick off his campaign, Octavio decided to pay the cattle breeders a little more that he has done ever since he opened his meat packing company. He previously got into numerous fights with Fernanda over how little he paid the breeders so they decided to sell their cattle at the market. Octavio sabotaged them by flooding his own cattle at the market so the breeders would not be able to sell. In his effort to win over Fernanda, he eventually agreed to pay them 12 percent more. He eventually used the situation to his advantage by wooing the breeders to vote for him. The breeders were ecstatic with the increased payment and some immediately vowed to give him their votes.The news of Octavio's bid for public office however did not have the reception he had expected from his close friends and family. This is because David, Rafael's best friend, had already announced his bid for the position.
