“Cha mhimu ni uhai.” All that matters is life. Or if you want to be literal, “Of Importance is Life”. This almost defeatist phrase has been thrown around by Kenyans over the years. Especially during this pandemic. Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) founding Director Muthoni Maingi decided to turn the lemons into lemonade.

Through her Pan- African media company Of Importance is life, she’s blessing our device screens with the Catalyst. It’s a comedy talk show that will explore everything under the sun. We will get to hear hot takes on politics, culture, and entertainment.

The Pan-African comedy web television talk show will be hosted by Muthoni Maingi. Each season of the show will have 12 episodes, interview exclusives, and deep cuts on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and a podcast. The series writers  include Muthoni Maingi, Justine Wanda, Sheila Omondi and Ciku Waithaka.

The first episode drops this Friday 25th.

Check out a sneak peek of the show here.
