Erika continues to face more trials on The Blood Sisters after the kidnapping of her son Jolo. The Solomons were not happy about her interference with their business in Paraiso so they decided to kidnap her son as an act of revenge. They asked for a ransom to give him back but Erika only ended up getting shot by Fabian.When Erika recovered, she continued with the relentless search for her son, this time managing to enter Paraiso. Unfortunately, Rocco had planned to steal Paraiso's money on the same day and he bombed the entire building. Erika was frantic looking for Jolo in the burning building but Tonyo gave her the sad news that Jolo had died. He had seen him go into a room before it exploded and he was sure that Jolo could not have survived.Erika's family held a vigil to pray for Jolo since his body was never recovered. Erika however refused to accept that her son was dead and instead seeing the absence of his body as a sign that her son was still alive. She continued to search for him with everyone's disapproval since they thought she was living in denial. Erika's faith however paid off when she saw Jolo in a taxi, which proves that he is indeed alive. The car sped off and Erika will have to keep looking for her son.
