Behind the scenes of upcoming Kenyan film, Lusala

The Ministry of ICT, through the Kenya Film Commission and Kenya Film School have launched a screenplay and script writing competition.
ICT Cabinet Secretary, Joe Mucheru, noted the competition is geared towards identifying Kenyan scripts, which will be co-produced by international production houses in China for screening to Chinese and African markets.
The script writing competition, whose call for entries closes on February 26th 2019, will see five winners receive a total of Ksh. 2 million, with the overall winner taking home Ksh. 1,000,000. Other category winners are 1st runners up - Ksh. 500,000, second runners up - Ksh. 300,000, and - Ksh. 100,000 each for best student and best young writer.
