Soap making is a creative craft that will allow your child to express their artistic abilities, learn a new skill and improve upon it over the years. Plus, they get to create something that has more thought go into it than an impersonal factory product.
At My Kenya Soaps, Kids aged 10 and above participate in DIY soap projects every weekend. They use the melt and pour or hand mill (also called French-milling) process. Because the soap is already made, they simply melt the soap instead of combining oils and lye water. No lye is involved in melt and pour or hand milling so it's safe to use.
Kids can get creative with scents, shapes and packaging under the supervision of seasoned soap makers.
