SHK Consulting Wins Brand Launch of The Year Award

Premium brands marketing agency, SHK Consulting, won this weekend at The Asian Weekly Achievers Awards (TAWAA) for Best Product Brand Launch - Mango by SHK Consulting. SHK was nominated at the awards for the innovative launch campaign that included an experiential launch event, social media influencer campaign and creative titled 'Mango Loves Kenya' as the fashion brand marked it's first entry into the regional market. The awards were held on Saturday 2nd March at the Diamond Plaza, Parklands. The awards were hosted by East FM presenters Kamal Kaur and Vikash Pattni and saw the who's who of the business and cultural community in attendance. Shreya Karia, Founder & Proprietor, SHK Consulting noted "when we set about to put a launch campaign together for Mango, we knew it had to be a campaign that would touch across social, cultural and economic demographics. We wanted to excite and delight the Kenyan shopper and embrace the city through Mango Loves Kenya campaign. To win the award is a testament to that campaign and we are thrilled that it has been so well received. It is just a sign that the Kenyan consumer is evolving and is in search of more sophisticated engagement". This is the second award SHK Consulting has won at The Asian Weekly Awards, having previously won for Best Event for The Taste Awards. The Asian Weekly Awards are held annually and results are derived from a mix of jury selection and readers votes. The Awards showcased over twenty categories. The accolade comes off the back of a strong 2018 year for SHK Consulting has also been the team to conceptualise and execute the Remy Martin One Life Live Them campaign putting renowned Kenyan artist King Kaka as the face to the global campaign. Along with executing the Superbrands Tribute Awards which recognizes and awards the leading brands across the region. Other nominees in the Best Brand Launch category included: Jito Kenya Chapter Launch, DT Dobie Launches Volkswagen Tiguan and Renault Kenya Koleos SUV Launch.
