Renowned Actor Jackie Chan Denies Reports He Is Quarantined Over Coronavirus
The legendary actor urged his fans not to worry about him and thanked everyone who reached out to find out how he was. Chan denied reports he has been locked up, or rather quarantined, contrary to earlier reports. Suspicion on Chan being infected began after a video showed him partying with Hong Kong police officers suspected to be positive at a retirement party on February 21 Revered actor Jackie Chan has strongly refuted claims he was tested positive for coronavirus. The actor in a social media post also denied reports he was locked up, or rather quarantined, contrary to earlier reports.
The Hong Kongese legend states in his post that he is safe and sound. He urges everyone not to worry, he goes on to say that he is very healthy and that he isn’t in quarantine. The actor received heartwarming messages asking about his wellness. During this difficult time he received special gifts from fans all over the world. He also hopes and wishes the same for the rest o his fans and people concerned as a whole.
His message gave his fans huge relief and they expressed the same on the comments section. According to Daily Online, there were suspicion that Chan had been infected with the virus after a video emerged showing him partying with Hong Kong police officers at a retirement party on February 21. Police later confirmed 59 officers who attended the party had been placed under quarantine after it emerged the officer who was retiring tested positive for the virus. According to health officials, four officers, the infected policeman’s wife and mother-in-law displayed symptoms of the illness as well.
