Although the challenge ended, it allowed fans to attempt at a vegan lifestyle. So it does beg the question why is veganism becoming such a trendy topic and being endorsed more and more?
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from animal products basically, not eating meat or using any product like leather and etc.
Veganism does has a lot of benefits. According to Healthline, a vegan diet can/may:
  • Help you lose excessive weight
  • Lower blood sugar levels and improve kidney function
  • Protect against certain cancers
  • Lower the risk of heart disease
  • Reduce the pain from arthritis
  • Be richer in certain nutrients
  • Give you healthier skin
Veganism shouldn't just refer to food but should be incorporated into the lifestyle. Whereby, people no longer use animal products. This means, using more natural ingredients and becoming more environment-friendly, through use of sustainable material.
Other high-profile celebrities who have endorsed the vegan lifestyle are Paul McCartney, Ellen DeGeneres, Mya, Erykah Badu, Andre 3000 and many others. Their Fountain of Youth is credited to veganism.
