Nem has released his first EP of 2020 dubbed "Quarantine Playlist", which features a variety of unique sounds. The "Shikisha" crooner defines the latest EP as "a blend of his different musical styles to give the experience of an actual playlist as one would have on a streaming service".The first song in the EP titled "Hiphop" brings the raw but sarcastic "in your face" rap vocals with the lyrics to match.  "Ufala" is also a hip-hop/rap track that takes a shot at the lack of proper competition and low-quality musical standards in the Kenyan music industry."Bad Gal", the third stint off the EP, introduces a dance hall Caribbean style. It's not a typical love song, but rather highlights dilemma and mixed feelings from the character's perspective. The rapper attributes the EP's last single "Like you" as "a feel-good groovy song that one can vibe to anytime".Nem debuted his music career in 2016 with the hit single "Thinking" featuring sultry songstress Pryshon.
