You’ve probably heard of the Huduma Namba  mass registration of citizens program being rolled out by the state. The countrywide mass registration begins on March 15  and will run for 45 days. All citizens must register within that time frame or will be unable to access essential government services thereafter. Visit your nearest Huduma Center for more info.

Initially it was for adults only. Now, the process includes having kids over 6 years old registered into the system. Kids will have to get their bio-metrics taken and undergo some sort of interview. Adult style.

Some parents are iffy about this and don’t want their kids subjected to that. The government says it’s all good and we shouldn’t have anything to worry about. We wanna know, do you think it’s essential for kids to acquire this number or would you rather your kids do this as adults?
