Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway Bunny Goes Rogue

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway is the funny, action-packed sequel to 2018's Peter Rabbit. It's loosely based on Beatrix Potter's books. In this movie, Peter and some of his bunny friends from the first movie have moved in with the newly married Bea (who is fashioned after Beatrix Potter) and her farmer husband Thomas.

Bea is still churning out books about Peter and his friends and is starting to enjoy the fame and the few coins that come with it. Thomas' tomato garden is thriving and Peter and the other rabbits are allowed to feed on some of the produce if they keep an eye out for thieving pests.

Everything seems to go well with this quiet charming life until Bea is offered a deal in the city by a greedy publisher who wants to capitalize on her works and turn them into some soul-less money-making project.

The rabbits are not too happy with this new proposal; especially Peter. He falls in with a bad rabbit named Barnabas who becomes a sort of father figure to lonely Peter. He then becomes a runaway, pursuing a life of crime with Barnabas and his menacing new friends.
