The Discovery Centre
This extra-curricular science club offers great science workshops for kids on weekends and school holidays. Their courses are designed to truly engage kids with the scientific methods where they learn to hypothesize, test experiments, understand and change variables. They also explore and communicate results just like in the real world.
Their virtual science camp for kids begins on April 20th. Designed for kids age 5-13, the camp will cover a broad range of subjects. If you'd like to sign up your kid/s, contact them here
Kenya Education Cloud
The ministry of education set this site up to help teachers and guardians teach kids remotely. Here, you'll find state-approved material for both primary and secondary school kids. The resources here will help you keep up with the syllabus.
You can download free PDF documents, audio and even textbook excerpts. Set up an account easily and get to interact with tutors and even other students. The site promises "Unlimited learning experience".
NASA
Does your child have an interest in space exploration?  Well, NASA launched Teachable Moments, connecting classrooms — and homes — with resources for investigating the latest discoveries about our universe. They have a range of activities and lessons that are suitable for kids, tweens; and teens. Everyone's covered!
 
Nova Labs at PBS
This free program is best suited for teens. Here, they'll discover multimedia experiences that combine video, animation and; games to delve into fascinating scientific topics, such as polar ecosystems, solar storms and renewable energy. This interactive experience will keep your teen engaged for hours.
 
Terrific Scientific by BBC
Terrific scientific offers free learning resources for adults, children, parents and teachers organized by topic. TS brings science to the heart of your teaching with fantastic investigations and exciting resources that'll help you keep up with the curriculum.
