Nurses is a Colombian show from 2019 produced by RCN Television and starring Diana Hoyos.The novela follows the story of Maria Clara (Diana Rios), who works as the head nurse at Santa Rosa, the most recognized hospital in the city. She is married to Roman and the couple have two children together. Although she might seem happy, she feels that she has fallen into a monotonous routine in her marriage. Maria Clara hence decides to reignite the romance on the day of her wedding anniversary but Roman suffers a heart attack. As Maria Clara takes care of her husband at the hospital, a woman named Paula suddenly arrives with her young son, claiming that Roman is the father. Maria Clara thus decides to get a divorce.

Meanwhile, a young resident, Dr. Carlos Perez arrives at the hospital and has a special connection with Maria Clara. With their relationship developing into something serious, they will have to face numerous obstacles such as Mara Clara's children, who oppose her new love.  Dr. Carlos' wife, Maritza, also finds out about the affair.Will Maria Clara and Carlos find a way past their complicated lives to be together?
