It's the year of Skales - making waves with mega hits from West Africa all the way to East African dance floors, households and radios! Following the massive success of his recent smash hit single: "Kpete Wicked", the Nigerian afro beats artiste Skales unleashes yet another brand new banger: SENRERE featuring Koko Master himself D'Banj. Produced by Chopstix, the bona fide dance anthem is an up-tempo song, dominated by piano synth sounds and traditional acoustics.
Speaking of his second release of 2018, Skales says, "I am excited to launch this new song in East Africa. A big thank you to all my fans for the support so far on all my records, I will keep them coming." This is his first ever collaboration with D'Banj which he says ""D'Banj is a true definition of longevity. I remember listening to his songs and watching his videos and shows and now we got to work together and he is still stronger than ever. It is such an honour."
With hits such as "Booty Language", "Temper" and "Agolo" off his Never Say Never Guy album dominating the music charts in East Africa, Skales is working on more releases in East Africa and was recently featured on the "Pon Mi" remix by Uganda's finest Beenie Gunter, DJ Slickstuart and DJ Roja. He is also working on his new album set for release in April, 2018. He says, "SENRERE comes from a happy place, I hope to send my fans the good vibes as they anticipate the release of my new album."
Skales is a songwriter and performing artiste who propelled to fame following the Pan African success of his hit singles: "Temper", "Shake Body", "Mukulu", "Keresimesi" and "Komole". Other monumental singles include his 2009 debut single, "Must Shine" and "Heading for a Grammy" that was inspired by Kanye West's "Jesus Walks".
