Nigeria and Mali Teams Tied at WAFU Cup
Nigeria and Mali teams scored no goals in the opening game of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations. The match took place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Undoubtedly, both teams had perfect chances to win. However, they failed to score any goals.

In a minute, Olamileka Aniyikaye rescued Nigerian team when he cleared with his head a twelve-yard shot from Mandala Konte off the goal line. So, neither team managed to score in this match. So, Nigeria-Mali: 0-0.
Its next game in Group “A” Nigerian team will play against Guinea on September 16. At the same day, Mali will try to score against Ghana.
