Edutainment: N*Gen, Science Lessons from Teachers Across Africa

Akili Kids and Peripheral Vision International, have partnered to bring N*GEN, a new children's program produced in East Africa. N*GEN promotes a culture of curiosity, discovery and fun for 7 to 12-year-old children.

Peripheral Vision International has produced thirteen half-hour episodes hosted by vibrant and charismatic teachers from all over the African continent exploring different scientific concepts and real-life adventures.

N*GEN promotes a love for science for both girls and boys, by encouraging experiments that can be done at home, creating moments of curiosity about the world around us and developing pride for our incredible African Continent.

N*GEN features short moments hosted by real teachers from across the continent who directly participate; these teachers contribute lessons and promote inquiry within subjects that they are experts at teaching.

Where to Watch

Kids can watch N*GEN on Akili Kids! weekends at 8:00 am and 4:00pm.
