The National Museums of Kenya has put together a great exhibition that brings together 40 emerging artists from 16 counties in Kenya who are exhibiting side by side with pioneer artists in a visual dialogue towards a national art gallery.
Organized by the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage, the Marejeo Renaissance exhibition is open to the public till 8th August.
To reflect the country's deep, rich history while foregrounding recent innovations, the exhibition includes a diversity of art forms from the past through contemporary times.
One of the most captivating pieces in the exhibition is by Joyce Akinyi  who uses discarded  African fabric to create sculptors. Her pieces gave attracted the attention of art connoisseurs. Feast your eyes below:
