Livia Brito and Jose Ron will star in new Televisa Novela, La Desalmada. The tandem reunite after 7 years when they worked together in hit show, Muchacha Italiana. La Desalmada is an adaptation of Colombian show, La Dama de Troya and will be produced by Jose Alberto Castro.La Desalmada is the story of vengeance, following the life of a young woman, Fernanda Linares (Livia Brito). On the night of her wedding, her husband is murdered, while she is raped. This unfortunate event will set her on a vengeful course against the perpetrators. Jose Ron plays Rafael Toscano, a young man fresh from college who happens to meet Fernanda.The show's recording is already underway in Mexico. Other cast members include Eduardo Santamarina, Marjorie de Sousa, Marlen Favela, Sergio Basanez and Kimberly Dos Rios.
