Lady Gaga just did her long awaited super bowl halftime show and did not disappoint in any way. She started off with a medley of “God Bless America” in protest to the divide the country has been facing since you know who became president. She did all this while on the roof of the NRG Stadium mind you, and soon after leaped down to the stage and kicked off her electric set with “Poker Face”, which was perfect just for the ‘I wanna hold 'em like they do in Texas plays’ line in the song. You know, because the super bowl was in Texas.
She then went on to do “Born this Way,” followed by “Telephone”, which many people expected a pregnant – with twins – Beyoncé to show up for but alas! Gaga then went on to perform “Just Dance”, the song that catapulted her into international fame and then sat at the piano to play “A Million Reasons.” The Lady then went on to change costumes in less than a minute and joined her troupe for my personal favorite song that she’s ever done, “Bad Romance.” There were fireworks, 300 drones that danced in the sky and of course an unstoppable Lady Gaga. Watch the showmanship below and get ready to become a ‘Little Monster’.
