Kuumba Cottage: Therapy for Kids with Special Needs in Nairobi

According to the National Survey on Special Needs Education in Kenya, less than 20% of Children with special needs in Kenya are getting specialized treatment/education. The stigma that surrounds children with special needs discourages many parents from enrolling them in classes or getting them the help they need. 

Kuumba Cottage is committed to offering inclusive education and therapy for children living with special needs. At Kiddy Villa Daycare in Lavington, children with special needs are catered to under the care of experts knowledgeable in:


  • ADHD
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Down Syndrome
  • Dyslexia
  • Physiotherapy

You can enroll kids aged 2-15 at Kuumba cottage. They have half day classes that run from 8:30am-12:30pm. The full day classes begin at 8:30am and end at 3:00pm.
