Kirigo Ngarua, an ex-Citizen TV news presenter, for the first time has published some "shocking" facts about her ill-timed exit since she was laid off by Royal Media Services in 2016.
Kirigo said her dismiss was a great shock because she did not expect it at all. "I did not see myself leaving Citizen TV anytime shortly. Of course, I knew that some people would be dismissed, but I did not give it much thought as I was fully concentrated on doing my job in the best possible way," explained Kirigo.
As Tuko Gossip informs, Kirigo Ngarua shared her secret thoughts in social media. "A lay off is never easy. It throws you into some confused state. And for it to happen in public makes it slightly harder cause everybody desires to know what really happened. But it is not the end of the world. I believe it's a stepping stone to bigger and greater things. It's definitely a lot harder, but you learn to take it a day at a time."
The ex-Citizen TV also added that her relatives who live abroad invited her to relax for some time and clear mind. In such a way, Kirigo explained her instantaneous leaving Kenya that came with a rumor.
Kirigo also revealed some fact about her Royal Media Services experience. "My journey at Royal Media Service was a fascinating. I learned a lot in my eight years of experience in the media industry. Despite working together, I learned to consider my workmates as my family who would always come through in both good and bad times. That is what I really miss the most about the Royal Media family," confessed Kirigo Ngarua.
Speaking of her plans for future, the former TV-worker said she was planning to produce some online show. However, she did not mention any particular style or direction.
