'Got Talent', one of the world's most successful reality show formats in TV show history is now in East Africa. The show concept was conceived and is owned by Simon Cowell, the superstar judge from Pop Idol, The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent.
The participating countries in East Africa Got Talent are Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
Participants will be taken through three stages. The first stage is a pre-audition which will take place in major cities across East Africa. The 2nd stage will see qualified participants from the pre-audition stage travel to Kenya for the live show slated to start airing on 10th August. Over a period of 10 weeks, contestants will battle it out for a spot in the grand finale where the winner will walk away with 50,000 USD (Ksh. 5 million).
The show is open to participants of all ages. If you - or anyone in your act - is under 18 you will need a parent or a guardian to confirm that they have agreed you can apply to take part in the competition.

Theatre Auditions

If you are in Nairobi, auditions will be held on 11th and 12th May 2019 at KICC. If you are in Mombasa, auditions will be held on 19th May 2019 at Nyali school.

Online Submission

Enter via WhatsApp by sending a one minute video of you showcasing your talent along with your name, age and country. The number to use is +254 (0) 703 437 903 or complete the online submission form available here. The deadline for online submissions in Kenya is 18th May 2019.
