Some would say we're living in apocalyptic times with COVID-19 running amok around the world. The release of Greenland amid a pandemic is errrr….timely?
A comet is heading for Earth but is expected to pass us by. After the first "small" fragments touch down on the surface of our planet Earth, it's apparent that a disaster that could end humanity seems inevitable.
John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife, and their young, diabetic son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary- Greenland.
Apparently, a bunker in Greenland is the only place with any reasonable chance of survival and Gerald is determined to get his estranged wife and ailing son safely to the bunker in 48 hours. It's a race against time.
Complex family dynamics and natural disaster collide in this visually appealing film that portrays raw human behaviour during times of disaster.
