Is there anything you would rather be doing on a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, while quarantined at home, than attend a Zoom party tasting of Glen Fiddich? And in good company? Not me; what a treat!All participants received a care package with a bottle of Glenfiddich Original Twelve single malt scotch whisky (packaged in their newly designed bottle), 2 gorgeous Glenfiddich glasses, some cocktail recipes and a small bottle of Speyside Sandcastle cocktail (with a dried orange slice), pre-mixed by Revolver.Our charming host, Glenfiddich National Ambassador Kenya, Mulunda Kombo, invited us to pour our pre-mixed cocktails into our new glasses, and add the dried orange slice and ice (if so desired) and swill the mixture around. The cocktail, with Glenfiddich 12, cherry liqueur, sweet Vermouth and passion fruit juice, was smooth and divine, just the right amount of sweetness.
