It took six seasons before winter came and seven before the Night King breached the wall and marched his army of the dead into the North. Season seven ended with a cliff hanger as we watched in absolute horror as the Night King destroyed the castle of East Watch by the Sea and we can’t help but wonder what show runners D. B Weiss and David Beinoff have in store for us in season 8. Here is what we know so far.
The final season will have six episodes. Each episode will be about 90 minutes long and according to HBO Chief Peter Plepler, viewers are in for a treat.
HBO’s 5 second teaser is a scene in which Sansa hands over the North to Dany. Sansa’s doesn’t seem enthusiastic about it and from the look of things, she could be hiding a trick or two up her sleeve.
Here are some reactions to the promo from KOT;
Winterfell is yours your grace… Sansa said in cersei kind of way

Sansa didn’t watch her father die, grieve over the death of her mother and brother while being abused by Joffrey. Kill Ramsay after being raped, put up with Littlefinger for years to give Winterfell over to some lady with dragons. This is when Games of the Thrones starts 👊 https://t.co/QUN7JTvc4T

Sansa cedes Winterfell, I’m out. I’d rather she dies and teams up with the night king pic.twitter.com/7UnTdXHDHD

The prequel will take place thousands of years before the Game of Thrones and will reveal the secrets of Westeros history from the origin of the White Walkers to the birth of the noble houses.
