As we already know, the upcoming season of Game of Thrones will only consist of 7 episodes and will premiere on July 16. This shouldn’t worry you though, you will get the same run-time of your favorite Westerosi characters, Kings, Queens, White Walkers and of course DRAGONS. And my how they’ve grown.
“The dragons this year are the size of 747s,” Matt Shakman, who directs the seventh season of the most popular show on TV told EW. He also adds that Drogon is still the biggest of the three and that his flame has a diameter of 30 feet.

So he gets really big!
The showrunners also released an official poster to the seventh season which might not say much at first but says speaks volumes once you pay closer attention. The image is that of a song of ice and fire, confirming the icy dread that Winter is finally here. It could also point out to the fact that Jon Snow (ice) and Daenerys (fire) will finally meet and will be very instrumental to the theme of the entire season. They also announced that music superstar Ed Sheeran would guest star this season.
I’m hoping that HBO will release some dragon action-packed teasers soon just too give us an idea of how bad ass they’re going to be. And oh, Cersei is completely f*#ked!
