Kenya has quickly become a prominent destination for African Drill music. In 2021, the genre gained mainstream popularity in Kenya, alongside other urban styles such as Gengetone, RnB, and Afro-pop. This has brought attention to many talented and previously overlooked artists like Xxl Bandit.
Xxl Bandit is part of Kenyan drill trio Kozy Klan (alongside Rakim Rabar & Soulja Frank).
Kozy Klan are working on a joint album "Kozy Seazon" which was preceded by Xxl Bandit's debut album 6.09 am (Goddamn) that dropped late 2022 and is enjoying rotation in the club scene. The The thirteen (13) track album is produced by  Denzo on the track & Tyvd Trvck
Wins n Losses featuring an array of artists goes really hard and is my fave. Listen Here
6.09 am (Goddamn) is now available across all platforms. Check out Xxl Bandit and Kozy Klan on social media.
