The First Lady (Primera Dama)  is a Colombian telenovela from 2011. It is a remake of a Chilean novela of the same name. The show is produced by Caracol Television starring Christan Meier and Carina Cruz.First Lady follows the story of a young woman named Paloma. She comes from a poor background and dreams of one day becoming rich and famous. Tired of being poor, she decides to leave her home town and heads to the capital city in search of a better life. This is where she meets presidential hopeful, Leonardo Santander. Paloma sets her eyes on him and starts to seduce him with the hope of becoming the First Lady of Colombia.But in order to achieve this, she must leave aside the love she feels for Mariano, win the heart of future president Leonardo Santander, and most importantly, win the trust of his wife, who will unknowingly open the doors of her house to the woman who will end her marriage and destroy her family in order to take her place.Will Paloma succeed in becoming Colombia's first lady?
