There comes a time when we yearn for the old shows that brought us to the exciting world of Telenovelas. For Filipino drama fans, you can get to enjoy some of the old classics currently on air and bring back those fond memories.

Here is a list of classic Filipino dramas now showing on local TV:

  1. The Promise (Pangako Sa’ Yo)

The show from 2000 stars Jericho Rosales and Kristin Hermosa. It is the dramatic love story of Angelo and Yna, caught between deception and rivalry within their families, as well as the ruthlessness of the daunting Claudia Buenavista. You can follow the show weekdays on Romanza+ Africa.

  1. Till Morning Comes (Darating Ang Umaga)

Till Morning Comes is a drama from 2003 staring Vina Morales, Eula Valdez and Ian Veneracion. It is the story of two sisters from the Banal Family, Mira and Arriana, rivals in love, while their lives are cursed by a broken medallion. They experience suffering and misfortune and hence have to save their family by mending the medallion. The show airs weekdays on K24 at 6:00pm.

  1. Chances (Sana Maulit Muli)

This is a show from 2007 staring Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu and Erich Gonzales. The story follows two young lovers, Jasmin and Tristan who will test fate to be together. Tristan takes a chance to go back in time to change destiny and stop Jasmine from dying. The show airs weekdays on K24 at 8:00pm
