Thankyou is the story of a small social enterprise that seeks to end extreme poverty. The enterprise, aptly named, produces consumer products and all the proceeds are used to fund projects geared towards ending extreme poverty. In Kenya, grants totalling $1.4million to organisations have been given to initiatives such asLwala Community Alliance,Nuru International andWater & Sanitation for the Urban Poor, who all do important work towards poverty eradication. Influencers likePatricia Kihoro,Adelle Onyango andShiko Nguru have added their voices to it. Every social media post takes the movement one step closer to effecting social change and improving the lives of countless people in a tangible way.
