Fall into temptations finally came to an end on the last day of 2018. The show that revolved around the case of Carolina's murder was finally closed after Damian confessed to killing Carolina. He was however not convicted as the judge ruled that Damian was trying to defend Carolina from her brother Vicente and ended up shooting her by mistake. Vicente was the one convicted instead but he hung himself and died in jail.The finale saw a lot of other characters die including Miriam, Andres and even Damian who shot himself after visiting Carolina's grave.Santiago and Raquel were meant to have their happy ever after but things took a different turn. Santiago was going to propose to Raquel during a trip that his children arranged for them.  He however forgot the ring and asked Raquel to wait for him at the beach as he went to get it.As Raquel was waiting, she finally remembered the night of the accident and it was revealed that she was actually the person who shot Carolina. Damian asked her to run away and wiped her finger prints from the gun.Due to a memory black out, Raquel had forgotten everything and was distraught after she remembered what happened. She moved over to a rock on the beach and a huge wave of water rushed over, consuming her as the show ended. Did she die too?
