- Responsible for developing the strategy and workplan for event and movie ticketing in Kenya and promoting regional expansion
- Implement the strategy and workplan and achieve ticketing targets.
- Identify key stakeholders- event organizers and venues- and sell KenyaBuzz ticketing to them- preferably exclusively.
- Work with KenyaBuzz customer care staff to set up systems for selling and implementing ticketing.
- Supervise KenyaBuzz customer care staff.
- Liaise with finance to ensure payments for clients are timely.
- Help strategize the specs for the KenyaBuzz ticketing system and oversee the technical development including intensive system testing.
- Work with the lawyer to develop proper contracts, user agreements, and other engagement documents for ticketing with KenyaBuzz.
- Collaborate with the designer and Head of Digital Marketing to oversee the development of B2B promotional materials targeting event organizers and venues
- Collaborate with the designer and Head of Digital Marketing to oversee the development of B2C promotional materials
- Develop and implement reporting system for clients
- Develop internal tracking and reporting systems for movie and event ticketing
- Train and organize a team of casual staff to work on bigger events
- Any other as assigned.
- University degree with excellent grades
- Five years' work experience with outstanding track record in sales
- Proven management, administrative and supervision skills.
- Outgoing personality
- Experience in ticketing preferred
