If you're a real fan of hip hop, then you know that Eminem sets fire on the mic. The American rapper recently dropped an unannounced album dubbed Kamikaze, provoking oodles of reactions from all over the world.
In the surprise album, Eminem who's among the world's best-selling artists of all time, takes on a number of individuals he has a row with, among them Joe Budden, Vince Staples, Lil Yatchy, Chalamagne tha God, Ja Rule, and Machine Gun Kelly. Em even disses (again) the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
Even with the album giving us some of the fiercest battle lyrics the hip hop world has heard this year, Em revealed that his long-time producer Dr. Dre had to stifle one other diss track that particularly crossed the red line.
In part three of an interview with popular American radio host Sway, published on YouTube yesterday, the rapper who brings out his alter ego Slim Shady in Kamikaze album revealed Dr. Dre's input is all over the album. Asked about one of the songs Dr. Dre "deaded" on the grounds it had gone too far, Eminem admitted, "It definitely went too far."
The interview also gets Eminem speaking about how he found Jessie Reyez who features on two songs in the Kamikaze album. Have a watch:
