We've been laughing at Eric Omondi's jokes ever since his days at the Churchill Show. But his latest stunt has drawn anger from Kenyans. A few days ago, the ballsy (no pun intended) comic shared a video of himself playing with kids in the water. The most shocking bit is that he was dressed in his birthday suit. Yes, we mean he was fully nude.
Some claim the video was shot at some remote location in Kenya while others say it's an old clip. His publicity stunts have previously earned him some lucrative marketing deals. Companies such as Bonfire Adventures and StarTimes have aligned their brands with the massive online reach and chatter that Eric generates.
The video clip has received mixed reactions with some on his side and others angered by his money-making moves. He has then gone on to apologize on his Instagram platform saying his intention was not to annoy Kenyans. It is yet to be seen which company is behind this latest tactic as many still believe it's a publicity stunt that will still work.
What do you think? Was this an innocent gesture? Here are some of the reactions from the social media world.
