Swedish Author Fredrik Backman wrote a best-selling novel back in 2012 titled "A man called Ove" about a grieving, suicidal mechanic who crankily micromanages everything and everyone around him as a coping mechanism and eventually finds happiness and redemption from the most unlikely places and persons.
This poignant book has now been adapted for the big screen as the black comedy "A Man Called Otto" starring Tom Hanks. The movie follows  a grumpy old man who learns to find joy in life again. While the storyline may be predictable, the trailer reveals some snippets of Hanks' brilliant performance and brings depth to the character of Otto.
The endearing message of this movie is the importance of community and kindness.  If you love a redemptive arch story, this movie is for you. Tickets on KenyaBuzz.
