It's that time of year again….Christmas is here! Tis' the season to be jolly! It's been a long year and you and the family could do with a little cheer. Christmas events are just the medicine. Here's a rundown of Christmas fun the whole family and especially kids will enjoy:
The Nutcracker Ballet
The Nutcracker and the Mouse King written in 1816 by German author E. T. A. Hoffmann has fascinated and inspired artists, composers, and audiences for nearly two hundred years. It is a classic Christmas fairy tale, immortalized by Tchaikovsky's ballet, brought to life every Christmas in many theatres all over the world. Nairobi's premier dance school, Dance Centre Kenya (DCK) wil be showcasing this classic at the Kenya National Theater from the 4th-5th December at the

Bah Humbug!
Beat Ebenezer Scrooge at the Matbronze Cafe along Langata road with your christmas cheer by acing all the answers at the family-friendly Christmas quiz night on 3rd December from 6pm-11pm. Fab prizes to be won.
An evening of Christmas Carols 
Still at Matbronze, a night of Christmas Carols and a buffet dinner on 11th December from 6pm-11pm. Proceeds will benefit the Kenya Society for the Protection & Care of Animals (KSPCA).
Santa's Shaggy Dog Day
It's all about the Christmas cheer on Santa's Shaggy dog day courtesy of KSPCA and Dogtoberfest Kenya. On Jamhuri day (12th December) at KSPCA in Karen, families and their fur babies will get together to celebrate the holidays. Kids will have lots of fun and proceeds will go towards supporting a noble cause.  
T'was the Night Before Christmas (recommended for teenagers 16+)
A special drama and concert that tells the story of Jose and Mariana. Two opposing characters going through the ups and downs of life and being in love. They fight for their love amidst the backdrop of Nairobi living. Watch this play at the Social House between December 14th & 15th. Get your tickets from KenyaBuzz
