If you're looking for a creative outlet for your children, consider introducing them to photography.
It's never too early to teach kids how to take an excellent picture or take an excellent video. Yes, taking a photo is more complicated than just pushing a button. There is a ton of thought and intention that goes into creating gorgeous art with a camera/video camera. But operating a camera is relatively easy and photography/video is a great, inclusive medium for kids to explore their creativity.
Camera company Canon-Kenya is offering FREE Photography & Filmmaking Workshops for Kids in Kenya this holiday.
The program begins with intensive study in camera, writing and directing. Then, students begin shooting their individual exercises. The end of the workshop is composed of editing class and post-production, ending with a final screening.
Text Book Centre Sarit Centre Branch will be hosting these workshops for kids aged 8-16. Canon will provide cameras to be used for these exercises.
Cycle 1 dates are 2nd & 9th April 2022.
Cycle 2  dates are 7th May, 14th May, 21st May and 28th May.
